STUNNING AND EARLY OLD MEXICO HANDMADE VOGT BRAND STERLING SILVER & 10 KARAT GOLD HIGHLY ENGRAVED COWBOY RODEO STEER ROPING SCENE BELT BUCKLE
If you collect roping buckles, this one would be a gem addition to your collection!! It is a very rare Vogt steer roping scene design and is being offered in true vintage condition with a beautiful naturally aged patina on the sterling silver surfaces. The buckle has extremely little wear, only a few light scratches on the back side of the buckle near the edge opposite of the belt tongue. The front is not engraved or personalized. Leaving you with an amazing blank slate to do as you please.
The buckle is solid sterling silver, the mark Vogt Sterling MEX 10K with the Eagle Mark (Eagle mark used in Mexico silver from 1948-1980). The steer, horse, cowboy and rope are entirely 10 karat gold. It has very interesting and highly detailed engraving with cross patterns making the larger leaf & vine accents stand out boldly. Measures 4” x 2 3/4”, fits belts up to 1 3/4” wide, and weighs a total of 122 grams or 4.3 ounces.
