Powerful, 2-stage filtration and scale reduction
The Aquios® DuoPlus™ DS220 is our premium, dual stage system salt-free water softener for homes under 2500 square feet. This system utilizes a two stage coconut carbon filtration that filters from 5 micron to 1 micron. In addition, our proprietary scale reduction media is proven to prevent and remove existing lime scale up to 30 GPG (grains per gallon) and sequester iron up to 5 ppm (parts per million). This system will remove chlorine, chloramines, pesticides, cysts, VOCs, turbidity, scale, rust, and other impurities from your water.

The Aquios® DS220 dual stage salt-free water softener and filter system utilizes our natural, scale reduction media to prevent and eliminate limescale. The result is that sediment, chlorine and other undesirable materials are removed from your water, and that calcium, manganese and other minerals found in hard water do not build up and create scale on your fixtures and pipes, and provide clean, pure and healthy water to you and your family.
Unlike salt-based systems, the minerals that make water “hard” are not removed. Instead, Aquios® utilizes a natural, scale reduction media that ensures that these minerals do not accumulate or build up on faucets, water heaters, shower heads, internal pipes or any other device that utilizes your existing water source. Our scale reduction media utilizes glassy polyphosphates which inhibit scale deposits and will reduce and eliminate existing scale buildup on your pipes and appliances. The result...most scale-causing minerals pass through the systems instead of forming deposits on pipes, appliances and water heater.
You will notice a difference in “water feel”, but not one that is “slippery” as is commonly found with salt water softeners. The Aquios® DS220 combines a 5 micron stage 1 cartridge and a 1 micron stage 2 cartridge both comprised of coconut carbon block that will deliver a full house, all in one solution. Our unique design ensures virtually no pressure loss or reduction in water flow rate and requires absolutely no programming, electricity or maintenance. It also comes with a 10 year warranty on the housing and valve. Now that's simple.....
The Aquios® water softener system includes your first cartridge and should last an average family between three (3) to six (6) months before it requires replacement.*
