Description

Dixie Belle Paint is one of the best mineral paints available.  It is so easy to use and has great coverage.  Usually 1 or 2 coats is all you need.  It is recommended to use a slightly damp brush to apply.  As with most paints, the total cure time is about 21 days; however, it is usually dry to the touch within 30 mins or less.  Actual dry time depends on the humidity in your area.  If desired, you can apply a second coat as soon as it is dry to the touch.
Most of the time sanding is not necessary but it is essential to properly clean your item first.  Our Dixie Belle White Lightning Cleaner contains TSP and a de-glosser and would be an excellent choice.
This paint can be used on just about any surface.  For best result on shiny surfaces such as laminate, metal, or glass, use Dixie Belle Slick Stick product first.
A top coat isn't required but can be used to enhance the durability of your item.  We offer the following choices: Dixie Belle Gator Hide polycrylic, Dixie Belle Clear Coat, and Dixie Belle Best Dang Wax.
