EARLY McCABE Silversmiths Sterling 10K LONGHORN STEER Buckle - BEAUTIFUL

Hello and WELCOME BACK to all of my loyal customers over the years. I have recently returned to Ebay after two years abroad, and I am happy to once again offer some of the FINEST and RAREST vintage collectible Western Trophy Buckles and Ranger Sets in the United States. Most ALL of my items are ORIGINAL, not modern reproductions of the originals. These are the REAL McCOYS!!!
Here is an EARLY McCABE SILVERSMITHS Sterling & 10K Buckle featuring his EARLIER LONGHORN STEER HEAD design with SPECTACULAR SINGLE POINT HAND ENGRAVING on the silver and etching on the HORNS and FOREHEAD in GOLD.....AND ESPECIALLY TAKE NOTE OF THE GRECIAN ENGRAVING PATTERN AROUND THE BORDER!!!
The dimensions of this buckle are approximately 2 5/8 by 1 1/2 inches.
This buckle is only signed with the mark which says "STERLING 10K," which was not uncommon in the earlier years for McCABE not to mark his products. I have attached photos of TWO other McCABE Longhorn buckles from his period, one stamped with the early mark "JOHN E. McCABE" and another one (Red Lodge, Montana), which is also only marked "STERLING 10K."
