VINTAGE WESTERN AMERICAN IRVINE & JACHENS **1927 U.S. PEACE SILVER DOLLAR COIN** SET ON A COMSTOCK SILVER BELT BUCKLE---This pre-owned silver dollar buckle is in very good condition. Both the buckle and the coin show only modest signs of wear, and it would actually look just about like new when on your belt. The I & J "Comstock Silver" metal designation indicates that the buckle has a very heavy guage of sterling silver that was BONDED (not plated) to the buckle front. Therefore, it gives the full appearance of a solid sterling silver buckle when looking at it on a belt and will maintain that appearance much longer than plated buckles. The hand engraving on this one is also exceptionally nice. Measures 3 1/2" x 2 3/4", accepting belts up to 1 1/2" wide.
