Description

This is a very rare and important early antique silver Saluki dog show trophy, this silver plated trophy is approx. approx. 8" tall and is inscribed "Westminister Pet Dog Show 1907 "Sharki", Sharki was a Saluki which was whelped in September 1904 and was successful in classes at Crufts.  A very famous early Saluki dog illustrations of the dog can be found in numerous old dog books of the time, the trophy is important in the history of the Saluki and early dog shows, it is in very good condition.
