Limited Edition Orrefors Sweden Herglotz Signed Engraved Ducks in Flight Plate

Up for your consideration is a beautiful vintage 1979 very limited edition orrefors sweden fine crystal Harald Herglotz signed dated numbered wheel cut engraved ducks in flight scene charger display plate with fine walnut display stand . Only 100 of these were made this piece is marked 25/100 .It does not show well in photos but the design is engraved in the front and back of plate giving the design a 3 dimensional depth appearance .Very Unique ! The stand is made of fine walnut with black velour backing behind the plate which really highlights the design .It is 15 inches by 15 overall and the actual plate is 13 3/16 in diameter by 5/8 tall .It is in excellent overall condition .Great fresh recent fine estate find
Harald Herglotz was a long time artist and master crystal engraver at Bromberg's Jewelers in Birmingham, AL, whose works can be found all over the world, from the Ronald Reagan Library and the Paul "Bear" Bryant Museum at the University of Alabama to the U.S. vice president's residence and the homes of dignitaries and celebrities. His client list includes, Ronald Reagan, Ducks Unlimited, (which by the way, I think this may have been a commissioned piece for Ducks Unlimited) , Lynn Cheney, the Royal Family of Kuwait, John Travolta, University Of Alabama, Winterthur Museum, The Bryant Museum etc. .Inspired by the glass artisans of his native Austria, Master Engraver Harald Herglotz used a fifteenth century style of stone and diamond wheel engraving to create museum quality works of art on crystal.
