This lovely piece of vintage Orrefors art glass appears to be a hard piece to find and is certainly one worth adding to a collection. The pattern is called Toprup and it was designed by Sven Palmqvist Pre-1970. In 1970 his designer code changed from P to SP and this piece is marked with a P indicated it was made prior to 1970. The bowl is made of thick, heavy cut crystal with smooth, sleek lines. The outer edge of the bowl is cut with a series of round thumbprints or windows which refract the light beautifully. The base of the bowl is signed "Orrefors P 4192-121". The dish measures 7" in diameter and 2 1/2" in height. In excellent condition it shows some minor wear from age and has no chips, nicks or cracks at all.
