Pair of Outstanding ORREFORS 8 1/2" Vases - Etched Viking Ships. These are in very good condition with no cracks or chips. 81/2" tall and retangular at the top. 3/4" thick. Beautiful set. Unsigned.
The  2 vases are by STROMBERGSHYTTAN Glass, possibly the only swedish glass factory to allow unsigned pieces to be retailed, normally this happened    because the designer and engraver were well known to their buying public, within Sweden anyway. Your vases were possibly by Anders Solfors & Lars Wigell (1970s)
The factory was destroyed by fire in 1973. And eventually sold out to Orrefors in 1976 and it was closed by Orrefors in 1979.
