    ~1964 TROPHY BUCKLE 20 MULE TEAM TRAIL RIDE~
    The front shows a Horse and Rider
    WESTERN BUCKLE is by
    IRVINE and JACHENS INC of SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA.
    ITEM #TL-77 out of many items we are listing today
    This buckle is beautiful and quite old (over 50 years old).
    This buckle is 3" by 2" and will fit belt leather of 1.5".
    Mr. J C IRVINE opened his shop making Police Badges and Buckles in 1886.  After the famous earthquake and fire he took on a partner by the name of Jachens.  They made some of the greatest and most loved Silver Work in California and their engraving was highly regarded.  In 1971 the company split and the Buckle Business moved to Nevada and changed their name to COMSTOCK SILVERSMITHS.
