    Description

    Rare! C + J, Inc. casting of a Charles M. Russell Design Limited Edition themed Western PEWTER BELT BUCKLE based on his work from 1900, “Last Chance or Bust”. Cast in 1986 by C + J, Inc., this gently worn 35 year old pewter belt buckle is in EXCELLENT condition. It is 3 3/8 inches by 2 3/8 inches. The front of the buckle shows a Conestoga wagon pulled by two oxen. In addition there is a man and a woman pioneer and a dog. At the bottom of the buckle are Russell’s initials, CMR. On the back it relates that this buckle was struck as # 850 out of a limited edition of 7500. It‘s marked SOLID PEWTER. The initials CMR also reappear. It also indicates that the buckle was made in the USA. Within a Cartouche is the following:
