Rare Heavy Orrefors Sweden Jan Johansson Signed Cobalt Blue 8 Sided Glass Vase

This auction is for a large, heavy, and rare beautiful eight sided Orrefors Swedish glass/crystal dark cobalt blue and clear internal abstract designed glass encased vase as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. The vase is in very fine condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. For accuracy sake in picture number 6 I have shown what looks like a tiny internal bubble or a line which is smooth to the touch and was probably done during manufacturing or is just simply part of the glass vase. The color is a dark cobalt blue which would show beautifully on a lighted base with the crackle clear glass internal ice abstract designs. Again this vase is large and heavy and is eight sided and sits on a round base. It would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s fine Scandinavian glass collection. The bottom is signed by the artist: Jan Johansson across the center and the exterior edge shows: Orrefors 9585-61 Jan Johansson 2001 with four rubber tipped stoppers for surface protection. The vase measures around 8 inches tall by around 6 1/2 inches across opening. Each panel or side measures slightly over 2 1/2 inches. This vase would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s fine Scandinavian or Orrefors glass collection. Please review all pictures carefully as they constitute part of the description. The vase alone before it is boxed and packaged weighs 14 pounds.
Due to the amount of increasing claims going unpaid- I will now be forwarding the upaid item cases to Ebay within 2 days after auction end and yes it is allowed!!  For those of you who pay on time don’t take this personally. The shipping amount listed on this auction is only an estimate and the actual amount may be higher or lower than what is listed based on the size of the package and where you live.  I don't prebox and weigh the items ahead of time.  Also I charge a handling fee for bubble wrap and peanuts, etc. and it also covers insurance depending on how much is needed and this is reflected in your shipping cost on the invoice.  Please pay invoice within two days of being received.
