RARE ORREFORS SIGNED VINTAGE ART GLASS TEARDROP SVEN PALMQVIST VASE 4.5" PU3632

Description

This is an Estate Fresh
vintage Mid-Century ORREFORS art glass "teardrop shaped" vase. On the bottom it is signed - "ORREFORS PU 3632". The "P" stands for the artist = Sven Palmqvist & the "U" = Blown glass worked in the blowing room.  Orrefors glass comes from Sweden & this piece was made in the late 1950s which is supported by that great wear on the bottom. This awesome little vase is about 4 1/2" tall & 3 1/2" at its widest & about 2" thick. It has a slight Blue Grey tint to it.  The hole on top is about 3/8" X 1/2" and the whole thing is perfect. By the way... it is very dense glass, so that means it is very heavy.
Old pieces like this are fairly scarce!
