    Rare Signed Orrefors Anne Nilsson Blue Orange Frosted Glass Apple Sculpture
    Presented is a very charming vintage art glass sculpture of an apple, designed
    by artist Anne Nilsson for Orrefors Sweden. The body of the apple is made from
    lovely blue glass with a frosted finish, with a vivid orange stem. Nilsson did a
    lot of work on the theme of fruit, including a green iteration of this apple,
    but this blue version seems both rarer and a little more visually striking.
    This piece is signed on the underside with Orrefors as well as the artist's
    name, Anne Nilsson and a number, 4723-11.
    This piece is in excellent condition. Only the most minor of shelf wear to
    the underside. No chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
    The apple measures about 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest point and
    stands about 3 7/8 inches tall.
