I have recently returned to Ebay after two years abroad, and I am happy to once again offer some of the FINEST and RAREST vintage collectible Western Trophy Buckles and Ranger Sets in the United States. Here is a rare 3 PIECE
Sterling Belt & Buckle Set made by LEGENDARY BUCKLE MAKER, MIKE SROUR.
This buckle set accommodates a ONE INCH (1")
and COMES on a BEAUTIFUL THICK, STITCHED, HAND-TOOLED OAK LEAF & ACORN PATTERN BROWN
hand-tooled belt which measures 39 inches to the closest hole and 43 inches to the furthest hole. The belt is handmade and marked by renowned leathermaker, "MATT KLEIN HALF MOON BAY, CA. MAKER," The buckle measures a hefty 2 1/8 inches by 2 1/4 inches, with SINGLE POINT HAND ENGRAVING. The buckle is signed "STERLING" and is not stamped with the very rarely used stamp that says "SROUR CO.," however based on the construction of the buckle brace on the back side, it is clearly an early Srour piece. Mike SROUR sold out to Joe STANTON, who together with the H. S. Means Company, merged into the SUNSET TRAILS COMPANY in the 1950s.
