    About Sven Palmqvist;
    Sven Palmqvist (1906–1984) was one of Sweden's leading glass artists during the 20th century. After his studies at the University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, he worked for the Orrefors glassworks between the 1940s and 1970s. Sven became well-known for his innovative glass techniques such as Kraka, Ravenna, and Fuga. His artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
