Vintage Alacite Aladdin 4 Footed Bowl SCARCE Signed

Description

Henry Hellmers developed this stunning glass in 1938 and called it Alacite and Aladdin advertised it as a “startling ivory opal glass” and it sure is.
You can still see the strong influence of the Deco period that was finally coming to an end.
It sets on 4 feet and stands almost 4” tall and is 6” across.
The rim is nicely scalloped and has gold in it when held to the light. The last photo I attempted to show the mark but my camera had a hard time picking it up. Within the circle it says: Alacite by Aladdin.
It has the most beautiful soft ivory color that’s a bit stronger than in some of the Aladdin pieces I’ve seen. Absolutely stunning.
No damage and a very hard to find piece. Don’t miss the chance to have this in your collection!
