Vintage Crystal Bowl Corona Orrefors Swedish by Lars Hellsten

Handcrafted Corona mini bowl. Designed by Lars Hellsten and is etch-signed on the bottom.  Crafted of crystal with the centrifugal technique. It is 3.25"tall, the opening 4 3/8" in diameter. It has a 3/4" tall leg, which is 2 3/8" in diameter. The weight of the vase is 2.15 lb. Lars Hellsten designed the Corona bowl at the Orrefors Glassworks in Southern Sweden. Corona was inspired by the light surrounding the moon, as Hellsten, one of Scandinavia's finest glass designers, cites nature as his leading design source. Made of purest crystal in the centrifugal technique, which challenges the skills of both artist and glassmaker, Corona has been among Orrefors’ best-selling classic designs since it's introduction in 1978.
