RARE Vintage Original SIGNED ED KLAPMEIER MILES CITY MONTANA Sterling Silver and Gold Belt Buckle Western Style Etched Engraved Design with Two Horses and the Letters NHP with a Stunning Oval Shaped Agate Stone
DESCRIPTION

Nice Very Rare Find Vintage Known Artisan Ed Klapmeier made sterling and agate belt buckle with original brown leather belt still attached. The leather belt is original and has the name
ERNIE
on it and has seen heavy wear from age and prior use. I thought of cutting it off but decided to leave it that can be a decision for someone else to make.
It is Signed/Marked on the back
"Klapmeire Miles City Mont." and seems like an older maker mark that others I have seen from this artist. Not marked as such but he primarily worked with sterling silver and 10k gold or a gold wash on the lettering for the NHP or NP on the top of the buckle. I did not want to scratch it to test as it is a work of art. I tested with a magnet and it is not magnetic. No harsh chemical testing has been done so if that is a problem please do not bid/buy.
This would make a great display piece, resell in your shop, wonderful gift, or for personal use of course!
MEASURES
: Approx. Buckle is 3" by 2" inches and the belt is 36" total length with holes starting at about 30" inches
CONDITION:
Good pre-owned condition. The leather belt part has seen heavy use and is tearing in some spots as well as other wear from age and use. Some minor marks and blemishes to the stone and buckle. Has surface wear, dings, surface marks, wear, aging/tarnishing to metal, scratches/scuffs, patina and general wear and imperfections from age and prior use. I sell items the way I find them and suggest all items be cleaned, dusted, polished, buffed, etc.

ABOUT ME:
When I was young I was a big time collector and enjoyed collecting baseball cards, comic books, video games, etc. My father was a bottle and rock collector and later in his life he enjoyed reselling antiques as well. My great grandfather had a Museum in New Hampshire and was also a big time collector in his day, so in short this is in my DNA.
