Vintage Mid Century or Earlier Orrefors Crystal Bowl, Signed- price reduction!

Description

This beautiful and unusual piece holds the hand-etched marking "Orrefors CP M 3586/1" or similar (very hard to read).  According to Orrefors's own informatiion office the piece is quite old as the mark pre-dates the information available in the U.S. archives; they note that it is similar to item #351621 designed by Nils Landberg. Orrefors used different signature systems for different types of glass, but clearly this is a piece of interesting provenance.
Nils Landberg attended the Orrefors School for Engraving 1925-27, became an engraver for Orrefors and was an Orrefors artist from 1934-1972.  Not positive this is his work - just going on what the company shared with me when I researched this piece, which was given as a gift 30 years ago from an older friend who had, in turn, received it as a wedding gift  mid-century or earlier.
