OLD WESTERN VINTAGE .925 STERLING SILVER & GOLD FILLED OR BONDED RARE PLATA DE JALISCO BRAND LUCKY HORSESHOE BELT BUCKLE—
This sterling & gold buckle dates back to the 1950’s to 1960’s era. It is pre-owned but remains in very good and fully functional vintage condition. The decorative triangles on this buckle are either gold filled or heavy gold plated. We believe that the symbol with the “50” on it stamped onto the buckle back by the maker indicates some gold content. In any case, we do not think it’s gold plating because they show no sign of wear or pealing. We also welcome comments from others who might know more about the bag symbol with the “50” designation. Measures 2 1/4” x 2”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide and weighs about one ounce.
