Vintage San Carlos Crumrine 22K Gold Over Sterling Silver Red Stone Belt Buckle

It is marked(see second photo). I'm not sure what type of stones(rubies?) The initial O is inside the horseshoe. It is in very good condition with wear and patina consistent with age. Please look at the photos. It is about 3 1/8" long and about 2 5/8" tall.
