VTG Rare Old Western STERLING SILVER & 10K GOLD Ranger Belt Buckle End & Keeper

OLD VINTAGE WESTERN AMERICAN STERLING SILVER & 10 KARAT GOLD TEXAS RANGER STYLE BELT BUCKLE, END & KEEPER—-
We are offering this old belt buckle set in original and as worn condition. A piece of the original belt is still attached to the end, as our photos show. There is certainly a very good amount of 10 karat gold in the main buckle blank monogram plate and decorative floral leaf & vine accents. We are not sure if this was originally a matching set….but, they do look real nice together.
The slide peg on the main buckle is slightly bent, as we show in the photos, but it does not effect the use of the buckle. It still looks and works great. Features a naturally-aged finish with the slightly darker oxidation usual on sterling surfaces. If you’d like a sparkling brand new shiny look, a light cleaning & polishing will produce that for you. The main buckle measures 1 1/2” x 1 1/2” and has an opening to take straps up to 3/4” wide. The keeper has a 5/8” opening and the end piece has a 1/2” opening. The total weight is about 15 grams or 0.6 ounces. We estimate they are from the western American 1940’s to 1950’s era. No makers hallmark, but the main buckle is stamped “STERLING, 10K”.
