A salt and pepper shakers set depicting the chubby Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum characters form Lewis Carroll’s “
Alice
’s Adventures in Wonderland”.
The two shakers have multi-color hand painted glazes over white ceramic bodies.
Tweedle Dee (Standing upright.)
This shaker has three small holes on the top of his cap.
This shaker measures: 2-3/4” x 2-3/8” x 4-15/16” high.
This piece is marked on the bottom, impressed: “© FF / 1992”.
The figure is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
There is a small glaze flake on the tip of this character’s propeller cap, (please see photos.)
Tweedle Dum (Standing on his head.)
This shaker has two small holes on the top (the soles of his shoes.)
This shaker measures: 2-7/8” x 2-3/16” x 4-15/16” high.
This piece is marked on the bottom, impressed: “© FF / 1992”.
A small paper label on the bottom reads: “FF /
TAIWAN
”
